Kerala Textiles & Garments Dealers Welfare Association (KTGA) provides this platform for managing membership registration, renewals, approvals, and certification. Please read the following terms and conditions for membership carefully:

• 1. Eligibility for Membership: Membership of the Association is open to individuals/firms engaged in textile/garment trade/Manufacturing in Kerala including boutique shops and designer outlets, aged 18 years and above. Valid documents required: GST Certificate, Shop & Establishment License issued by Local Self Government, and/or Udyam Registration. All information provided must be true and accurate. Any false information may lead to rejection/cancellation of membership. The Association shall have the right to prescribe additional qualifications for different categories of membership. KTGA Managing Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reasons.
• 2. Membership Application: Submission of the online form and payment of fees via the digital gateway constitutes a Provisional Application only. Final admission to the membership is subject to the scrutiny of documents and formal approval by the Managing Committee of the Association. The Association reserves the right to request additional documents or information whenever necessary. The Committee reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason whatsoever. If rejected, any deposited fees will be refunded within 30 working days, minus payment gateway charges if applicable. Submission of an online application alone shall not be considered as granting membership.
• 3. Fees & Subscription: Admission Fee for new membership is Rs.200/- and annual subscription is ₹300. Subscription paid at any time of the year shall terminate on next March 31st and fresh subscription fee need to be remitted for every financial year. Once an application is approved, all fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Membership shall be deemed inactive if renewal is not completed within the due date.
• 4. Accuracy of Information: The applicant declares that all information and documents submitted in the application are true, complete, and accurate. If any false information, forged documents, or concealment of facts is discovered, the Association shall have the right to reject the application or cancel the membership.
• 5. Code of Conduct: Every member shall strictly adhere to the professional code of ethics of the trade and the decisions passed by the Managing Committee or General Body of this Association. Members shall not engage in unfair trade practices, predatory pricing, or activities that tarnish the goodwill and reputation of the Association or the textile trade in Kerala. Misuse of the Association's name, any data related to the association, official logo, or online member directories for unauthorized commercial gains or defamatory communications is strictly prohibited.
• 6. Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated or suspended by the Managing Committee on grounds of voluntary resignation in writing, ceasing to carry out the textile/garment business, non-payment of dues beyond the permitted period, or acting against the core interests, objectives, or bylaws of the Association even after notice issued by the managing committee.
• 7. Rights and Responsibilities of Members: Every member shall comply with the Memorandum of Association, Rules, Bye-laws, and decisions of the Association; follow honest and ethical business practices; protect the dignity and interests of the Association; maintain cordial relationships with fellow members; and cooperate with and actively participate in the activities of the Association.
• 8. Use of Personal Information: The information submitted by the applicant may be used by the Association for membership administration, official communications, meetings, elections, publication of directories, welfare activities, and other lawful purposes. Except where required by law, the Association shall take reasonable measures to maintain the confidentiality of personal information.
• 9. Member Rights: Only members with paid subscriptions are entitled to vote and contest elections. Members are entitled to trade updates, government liaison support, grievance redressal, and access to association events. Membership is issued to individuals on behalf of a Textile shop or Textile establishment and membership is non-transferable.
• 10. Communication to Members: As a member of the Association, I hereby give my consent to receive notices, meeting notices, election notifications, training program information, circulars, and other official communications from the Association through email, SMS, telephone, WhatsApp, mobile applications, and other digital means.
• 11. Use of Association Name and Logo: The name, logo, emblem, and publications of the Association are the property of the Association. They shall not be used or published without prior written permission.
• 12. Online Meetings & E-Voting: Subject to the Societies Act and Association Bylaws, General Body and Managing Committee meetings may be conducted online via platforms like Zoom/Google Meet or any other online platform. Online meetings shall have the same quorum and validity as physical meetings. Eligible members may cast votes through e-voting via email/portal/WhatsApp. E-votes shall have the same validity as physical votes. Meeting links/credentials shall not be shared with non-members.
• 13. Right to make Amendments: The Association reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time as necessary. Such amendments shall come into effect from the date of their official publication.
• 14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India and the Bye-laws of the Association. Any disputes relating to membership shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kerala.
• 15. Acceptance of Terms: By clicking "I Agree" and submitting this online application, I (the "Applicant") declare that I am a legally authorized representative of my business entity and the information provided in my application is true and accurate. By submitting an online application, I understand that I shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Memorandum of Association, the Rules, the Bye-laws of the Kerala Textiles and Garment Dealers Welfare Association (Registered under Travancore and Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act) and any amendments made thereto from time to time. I understand that my membership shall become effective only after approval by the Association.
